Those of You That Have Seen the pics from albums Our wedding reception Have seen this area on the cover of one of Our mini albums (sorry everyone else, ill try to get These posted Real Soon Now). This area last year WAS Devastated by a huge slide / avalanche. This Was The First Time Since We Had Been back then. It really looks Different, Notably the canyon is WIDER. You can see Where the meat slide-through as the walls Are Nearly vertical now, you can see the tree roots from the earth WHERE WAS ripped away. We will try to go again this winter to get some pics.

On Saturday we went to Mt Hood for the race early 3K and 3K/5K walk for breast cancer. Eked this band, and They put on a very good stage show too with a lot of Attention to lighting.

On Saturday we went to another concert of jazz. This band is called Ronin and they are in Zurich. It was his first concert in the U.S.. Carlos and I enjoy this band. They describe their music as "Zen funk" Very interesting So Here We Are on Sunday, 2 concerts today! First We Are going to see Flecktones Bela Fleck and the this afternoon Followed by funk sax man Maceo Parker . We are definitely looking forward to Both shows:)

Today is Sunday and we have 2 gigs! First let's look Bela Fleck and the Flecktones in the afternoon and then we will see Maceo Par ker .

What To Do With Brother Who Is Unsociable Long weekend!!

Well Our long weekend is drawing to a close, so here's What Happened!

Here are the activities of our weekend

Here is Thursday's dinner - pork chops and orecchiette pasta with broccoli. I think ill start calling orecchiette Mr Hat pasta since it's looks like a hat

Friday We Went out for Our Valentine's date at Meriwether's in the northwest . Meriwether's has Their own farm in Portland. They Spent MOST of the last year building it up, and They Also Their smoke meats at the farm as well. Check out the website, very cool!

We left the day of San Valentin on Friday CHTMsteak and I had a bird called 'quail' in English. For dessert we had a flourless chocolate cake .. hmmm ... Speaking of chocolate ... Carlos got me a whole bouquet of Chocolate Covered Strawberries! My belt is today feeling a bit Tighter Than it did last week .... But strawberries Are healthy so its all good, right?

Speaking of chocolate .. Carlos gave me a banner under strawberry chocolate!! My belt is tighter than last week .. but strawberries are healthy, so it's okay, right?

Saturday we ran errands, did Our grocery shopping, relaxing and did Some Before we headed out to see the opera Rodelinda. We Went To
Red Star Tavern for dinner b efor the show. I Had Their signature cocktail is a raspberry flavored Which vodka based drink. Very nice:) They Have That has an interesting menu Several interesting side dishes - the steak you eat potatoes whipped with the Expected But a lot of the dishes Have beans, sweet potato, lentils or as the side. On Saturday we went shopping and rest before heading out to see the opera Rodelinda. We went to Red Star Tavern

before the operation. Take the house drink with raspberry vodka. Sunday afternoon we headed out to Mt Hood for Some afternoon snowshoeing. The weather here this weekend WAS totally amazing, We Had clear views all the way out to hood. Here Are some views out of the car as we where driving over the Marquam bridge CHTMLXng my shoes

Trillium Lake in the parking lot was full. We saw many people making snowshoeing and skiing. Someone with a long torso giant took this picture of me.




We saw eleven birds These Several of the crowds thinned out a bit. I dont know What Kind They Are But last time we where at trillium lake They ate out of Carlos' hand. They Are A Variety of bird very tame and when to we stopped to take this pic Several meat over to us (expecting food i assume)

saw many birds. Not as they are called but the last time we came here the birds ate from the hand of Carlos!

There Were Some vacation cabins for rent Along the trail. Were The Entrance around the back:) Several Families Seem To Be renting the cabins for the long weekend There are some rental houses on the road. Entries are behind the house. Many families were renting the cottage for the weekend

On our way back to Portland we stopped at Calamity Jane's Hamburger Parlour to replace All Those calories we burned. We got burgers and shakes .. mmm ..
dined at the restaurant Calamity Jane's burgers and shakes .. hmmmm .. And finally today Mostly we just Stayed around the house. We Took Advantage of the beautiful weather Some yardwork to do, check out this action shot of Carlos!
